Young Actors Ensemble
Young Actors Ensemble (YAE) builds on the foundation of OYES’ youth theatre program by inviting older students to take on more complex material and performance challenges. Material ranges from straight plays, to Shakespeare, to musicals. Rehearsals combine ensemble work, technique development, and focused staging while encouraging deeper character exploration, musical storytelling, and collaborative artistry within a fully staged production.

Performance Company
PERFORMANCE COMPANY RETURNS
OYES Performance Company began in 2015 as an opportunity for experienced teen performers ready for more advanced training, challenging material, and a more intensive production process. Over the years, the program grew alongside its young artists, creating a next step for students ready to take their work further.
Like so many arts programs, that momentum was interrupted by COVID. When OYES began rebuilding its programming in 2021, our larger youth productions returned first, while Performance Company remained temporarily on hold.
In spring 2026, we were thrilled to finally bring it back to the stage with Alice By Heart, marking the return of an important part of OYES' artistic and educational programming.
Designed for experienced teen and young adult performers, Performance Company offers an advanced, ensemble-driven environment where artists can tackle more sophisticated material, and deepen their craft.
Performance Company is by Audition (tuition fees may apply).
