Amanda Moir

Amanda Moir is an American soprano from Ojai, California who has performed roles including Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Despina in Cosi fan Tutte, Musetta in La Boheme, Florinda in Rodrigo, Mrs. Fiorentino in Street Scene, Annina in La Traviata and Suor Genovieffa in Suor Angelica. Amanda is a recent graduate from UCLA, receiving her Masters of Music in Voice under the tutelage of Michael Dean at the Herb Alpert School of Music.
She also has participated in masterclasses with Karen Brunssen, Kelli O’hara, Michelle Deyoung and Joseph Rescigno. Amanda has found that her passion for performing music has led to a passion for teaching as well. Currently she is working as an elementary school music teacher at Saint Felicitas and Perpetua School in San Marino, California. This has shown her the importance of music education in young minds and has brought further appreciation to her art.
